SRAM PC 1071 HollowPin Chain SRAM PC 1071 HollowPin Chain
If you're looking to drop even more grams from your climb-happy 10-speed drivetrain, let us introduce you to SRAM's PC 1071 HollowPin Chain. This little item happens to be SRAM's entry-level chain with hollow pins, and it makes quite a first impression. As soon as it's introduced to your derailleurs and cogs, the PC 1071 saves around 20g as compared to similar chain models, but the heavy chamfering that goes into its construction means it still rides as smooth as a heavier chain, and SRAM's PowerLock technology ensures that installation is a simple, tool-free affair.

SRAM PC XX1 HollowPin Chain SRAM PC XX1 HollowPin Chain
Designed to work with the XX1 crankset, the SRAM PC XX1 HollowPin Chain was designed with narrow and wider inner profiles that fit with the alternating thicknesses of the teeth. This results in a positive connection to the chainring so that it won't slip. Unlike traditional pin-style chains that require a tool to fix, the XX1 uses SRAM's PowerLock connecting link. SRAM recommends that the PowerLock Link be only used once so that strength is not compromised. Additional Links are available separately.

SRAM PC-1130 11-speed Chain SRAM PC-1130 11-speed Chain
Not unlike the company's 11-speed mountain bike drivetrains have already done, SRAM's 11-speed road drivetrains are rewriting the rules. You'll need a proper 11-speed chain to turn a Red 22, Force 22, or Rival 22 cassette, however, and that's where the SRAM PC-1130 11-speed Chain comes in. Pair it with any of the above systems for superb shifting, durability, and longevity. As always, we strongly recommend replacing your chain and cassette at the same time for proper drivetrain performance.

SRAM PC-1170 Chain SRAM PC-1170 Chain
Yeah, SRAM has made Nigel Tufnel jokes pretty easy with its whole 11-speed thing, but that's a small price to pay for improved shifting and better gear ratios. The fanciest cassette in the world won't work right without the correct chain, though, so SRAM modified its PC-1070 chain, renamed in the PC-1170, and served it up to all the 11-speeders out there. The PC-1170 is slightly narrower than its forebear, to comply with the smaller tolerances required by an 11-speed cassette. It also has hollow pins, which save 20g of weight without decreasing strength, and has new inner and outer finishes for improved smoothness. Of course, it also comes with SRAM's legendary PowerLink, which makes chain removal and drivetrain cleaning as easy as pie. The PC-1170 also ships with a pre-applied coating of SRAM's PowerLube, so it's ready to ride straight out of the box.

SRAM PC-Red 22 Chain SRAM PC-Red 22 Chain
If you're building up your new dream machine to run on any of SRAM's new 11-speed drivetrains, don't just scrounge up a chain from your garage to throw on your bike. Make sure your shifting stays smooth and precise within your new, wider gear range with the SRAM PC-Red 22 Chain, developed specifically for SRAM's new 11-speed drivetrains. In addition to being burly enough to handle more acute angles from bigger 11-speed cassettes and chainrings, the PC-Red 22 is impressively light, with hollow link pins and a lean, narrowed shape, and it comes with SRAM's PowerLube grease to keep things running smoothly for miles.SRAM keeps installation pretty straightforward with the PC-Red 22, including a strong, durable PowerLock connecting link that you can set up tool-free. Please note that installing the PowerLock link tool-free can only be done once, so if you end up having to break a chain later on for maintenance, you'll need to grab an entirely new PowerLock link before you can set your chain back up.

SRAM PowerLock Chain Connector SRAM PowerLock Chain Connector
The SRAM 10-speed PowerLock link is compatible with all models of SRAM 10-speed chains. It's not compatible with non-10-speed chains. "Why'" you might ask. It's simple: This link is 5. 95mm wide, just like a SRAM 10-speed chain. If you ride a SRAM Red, Force, or Rival road bike, or a SRAM XX mountain bike, you'd be well served to keep one of these in your seatbag in case of a chain crisis. The beauty of the 10-speed PowerLock link is that you can install it with no tools. It snaps in place with fingers-only. One critical note: SRAM states that you should break their chains at a non-PowerLock link with a chain tool, i. e. push out a standard link all the way. Then once you're ready to put the chain back together, you'll use this link. For use with 10-speed chains onlyPowerLock is not reusable, you must use a new link each time you remove the chain

SRAM X1 Chain - 11-Speed SRAM X1 Chain - 11-Speed
Going to eleven is rad; SRAM's 11-speed mountain bike drivetrains are popular for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is their near-inability to drop a chain. However, until the release of the X1 group, getting a SRAM 11-speed drivetrain required a bit of financial finagling. Not so any more, and this X1 Chain is a perfect example. It lacks the Hard Chrome treatment of the XX1 chain, but functions at a similar level. .
