Silca EOLO III - CO2 Regulator with 16gm Cartridges Silca EOLO III - CO2 Regulator with 16gm Cartridges
CO2 cartridges have always been a fast, easy way to re-inflate after a flat. It's also been rather crude, though, because of the inherent lack of control. Silca is changing that with the EOLO III CO2 Regulator. The EOLO III lets you switch the airflow on and off for a perfectly inflated tire with no wasted. The EOLO III is made completely with aluminum and stainless steel. Three rings on the regulator's body provide grip and protect your fingers form the cold flow of the CO2. The EOLO III comes with two of Silca's 16-gram CO2 cartridges, which contain 15. 5 to 16 grams of CO2, rather than the industry-required 14.

Silca Impero Ultimate Frame Pump Silca Impero Ultimate Frame Pump

Silca Pocket Impero Silca Pocket Impero
Modeled after the extremely effective design of the full-sized Impero pump, Silca's Pocket Impero exhibits the same overachieving qualities as its larger sibling in a more travel-friendly package. Rather than create a pump that would be easy to transport but would have lackluster functionality, Silca obsessively fine-tuned the Pocket Impero till it outshone typical mini pumps -- in fact, they'd prefer it if you didn't call it that. The company specifically addressed the issue of overheating, making sure the pump would not lose function when it's in use for more than a few minutes, which is the source of many mini pumps' problems. The Pocket Impero's design is extremely efficient, with a silicone grip sleeve doubling as a handle lock when not in use. The Pocket Impero features the same CNC-machined aluminum head and brass check valve as on its full-sized Impero pump, along with a 3mm steam-forged leather plunger that, according to Silca, possesses far superior sealing capabilities compared to less expensive rubber. All of this means that, while you're changing a flat on the side of the road, you'll be able to re-inflate a tube with fewer strokes and less effort. Amongst its other mini-pump peers, the Pocket Impero is a pricier option, but with its performance and functionality, we'd put it in a category of its own -- it's the pump we'd want to have with us the next time we get a flat on a ride.

Silca Super Pista Floor Pump Silca Super Pista Floor Pump
When Silca first introduced its Pista floor pump, the mountain bike was just a glimmer in its father's eyes. That venerable pump became a cycling icon, still working after decades of service. However, the short fall was that it was designed before high-volume tires, and it missed the mark when you had to put 30+ psi in a downhill or 29er tire. However, Silca filled that niche with the introduction of the Super Pista Floor Pump. Compared to the traditional Pista, the Super Pista's larger air chamber provides 20% more volume, so you can fill those girth'y rubbers with a few quick strokes. The eight inch Beechwood handle is also a vast improvement over the former's tiny plastic handles. The Super Pista is taller as well, as to make life easy on your back when you need to top off a few sets of wheels at once. As stated above, Silca pumps are well-loved because they seem to last forever. And when something wears out after its first decade of use, you can replace it for a few dollars in order to add another decade to its lifespan. The Super Pista has a large base for greater stability, and the gauge is mounted down low, well out of harms way should the pump get knocked over. And you know it will get knocked over, but that's no big deal because the pump's housing is made of steel. The Silca Super Pista Floor Pump is available in the color Dark Grey and features a two-part head that can be used for either Presta or Schrader valves.
