Capo Roubaix Arm Warmers Look in any of our saddle bags, and you'll find a pair of rolled up arm warmers. You simply can't beat the amount of protection for how little 'just-in-case-space' that they occupy. However, for the truly discerning, not any warmer will suffice when the temperatures drop. So, if you're like us, and only the best fabrics and fit will do, pull on the Capo Roubaix Arm Warmers for your next cold-weather ride. To strike the ideal balance between warmth and comfort, Capo constructed the Roubaix Arm Warmers from the venerable Thermo Roubaix fabric. With a warp-knit construction, the material has a natural stretch. Within the knit, the threads follow a zig-zag pattern along the length of the warmers. This allows more surface area coverage while using less material, equating directly to an airy, lightweight construction. Super Roubaix Tech's open, hollow core weave also accelerates moisture transfer from the skin to the quick-drying surface of the warmers. However, the precise brushing process is what contributes most to its warmth. After the dying process, dedicated machines perform a brush to the inner-lining that provides a high, fleecy, and warming loft. For the fit, Capo approached the warmers with minimal seams in mind. This contributed to the elimination of abrasion, but it also assisted in the ease of articulation. You'll notice that, at the elbow, the warmers feature a separate 'pocket' that allows the arm to bend without restriction. For the closure system, the Roubaix warmers have an external elastic gripper at the top, and an internal gripper at the bottom. The Capo Roubaix Arm Warmers are available in the colors Black, Navy Blue, Red, and White and in the sizes Small/Medium and Large/X-Large. For maximum effectiveness, Capo suggests wearing the warmers between the temperatures of 45 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

Competitive Cyclist Team Panther Arm Warmers It's no secret that we're quite proud of our co-sponsored Team Panther cycling team -- a talented assemblage of national champions and domestic U25 rising stars. To keep the riders comfortable and complete the team's handsome kit, we have the Team Panther Arm Warmers for those late spring morning starts and long training rides that extend long past summer's prime. The Team Panther Arm Warmers are not only fierce, but are printed on the Giordana Roubaix Arm Warmers. Constructed from the patented Super Roubaix fabric, the warmers provide even and ample warmth due to the fleece backing and varying fabric density of the Roubaix design. This variation also allows the warmers to follow each arm's contours, and provides light, targeted compression where it's needed. The material choice and contoured design means that you can expect barely-there comfort and enhanced moisture wicking. For extra comfort, the Team Panther Arm Warmers have minimal seams and are flat-stitched. The hems are finished with a silicone bead to keep each warmer in place at all times. The Team Panther Arm Warmers are available in sizes Small through X-Large.

De Marchi Contour Arm Warmer Arm warmers are indispensable for transitional days between seasons. You'll wear these De Marchi Contour Arm Warmers when you ride out into chilly conditions, but you know (or hope) that the weather will improve. When you get too hot, just slide them off and they go right into a back pocket. We find ourselves pulling them down to our wrists for extended climbs. Over the top, just slide 'em back up for the chilly descent. This kind of modular clothing system allows you to maintain the right body temperature no matter the effort or the weather. De Marchi makes them with their ThermoRoubaix HT fabric. This super soft material uses hollow fibers for maximum heat retention with minimal bulk. It has a fleecy softness to it for ultimate comfort against your skin. As the name would imply, the Contour Arm Warmers are cut to fit the shape of your arms as you reach for the bars. De Marchi makes them with two separate panels, joined on the inside and outside of the elbow. The inside seam is flatlocked to minimize distraction or bunching in the bend of your arm. The De Marchi Contour Arm Warmers are Black and come in three sizes -- Small, Medium, and Large. The upper hem has an elastic cuff with a silicone gripper strip to keep them from sliding down as you ride. The lower hem is simply doubled and stitched.

Giordana Body Clone Super Roubaix Arm Warmer Giordana offers both thin and thick warmers in their Body Clone Collection. The FormaRed Carbon Arm Warmers are the heavier, denser, warmer model in the Body Clone lineup, thanks to Super Roubaix fabric. Being that fit is a hallmark of Body Clone, these warmers have extensive paneling. Eight panels on each arm. That means that the warmer won't feel like it's tugging your arms straight or slipping down your arms when you're riding with your elbows bent. And since it's part of the FormaRed Carbon line, you also get comfy, soft Aerofix grippers at the top and the bottom, with Liquid Elastic at the top. The bottom has a scalloped shape to both cover your wrists and allow for great mobility. There is a second reason for all the paneling. Compression, which gives better muscle support, which delays fatigue, which allows you to ride harder longer which leaves a smile on your face for greater intervals. The paneling follows the contours of your muscles, allowing them to move, but also holding the muscles in place, which reduces the likelihood of muscle swelling from use. Giordana will probably tell you there's a third as well. The more a wicking material contacts the skin, the better it wicks. Take a top that's loose. Where the skin isn't in contact with material, sweat sits, keeping you feeling damp. Put a wicking layer next to that skin, and the skin stays feeling dry for longer. Super Roubaix is a brushed nylon/spandex fabric that is smooth on the outside and lofty on the inside. The panels are held together by flat-panel stitching so no seam will jab into your arm. There is a left and right, and are marked by reflective Giordana logos. These go on the outside of your forearms.

Giordana G Shield Arm Warmers If you live in an area where your winter is wetter than it is cold, a winter jacket offers too much protection for your ride. But when that ride is threatened by storm clouds, you need to be protected from the weather without running the risk of heatstroke. The Giordana G Shield Arm Warmers are the solution to staying warm and dry on your winter ride. The arm warmers are made from the Super Roubaix AZ fabric -- a soft and stretchable material with an inner loft that's both warm and breathable. For a perfect, comfortable fit, Giordana used contoured panels with minimal seams throughout the arms. The Aqua-Zero treatment on the fabric gives it water-repellant properties, and adding to these features, a silicone heat application on the seams fills the stitching and forms a water tight seal. No moisture seeping through means that you can enjoy your 50 mile ride home in the misty weather. And should that ride occur in low-light conditions, the warmers come with reflective accents to increase your visibility. The Giordana G Shield Arm Warmers are available in the color Black and in the sizes X-Small/Small, Medium/Large, and X-Large/XX-Large.

Giordana Silverline Super Roubaix Arm Warmer The Giordana Performance Silverline Super Roubaix Arm Warmers use a sophisticated pattern of panels to give you a quality of fit you'd never get out of a monotube design, which is what you ordinarily see out of arm warmers. Ergonomics is what the Silverline is all about. The Silverline is dubbed "Performance", a step down from Giordana's cost-is-no-object Body Clone line of apparel, though they're still as form-fitting and still utilize warm, plush, brushed on the inside, smooth on the outside Super Roubaix fabric. The difference is fewer panels and traditional grippers at the top and soft elastic at the bottom. There are left and right warmers. The reflective Giordana logos are supposed to go on your forearms. The panels are held together via comfortable flatlock stitching.

Hincapie Sportswear Edge Hydro Arm Warmer Arm warmers should repel water. Really. Not only should they keep our limbs warm, but they should be there helping keep the rain at bay when we ride in the rain. It's not too much to ask, we don't think, and Hincapie agrees. That's why it added an Acqua Zero treatment to the plush fleece Edge Hydro Arm Warmers, and now they can help keep water out. Acqua Zero is a simple idea that should be used more often. It's a fabric finish that limits the ability of water to soak into the clothes it is treated with. In practical terms it means that the spray of water whooshing off wheels and drizzling down will bead up, and when it starts coming down hard, it will take some time for the warmers to soak through. They also dry fast when washed (wash on cold only, please). The treatment is a great finishing touch on a good warmer. The two panel design means it fits your upper and lower arms equally well. The Slip-Knot two-sided silicone bead gripper at the top is there to grip both your arm and the jersey. The Hincapie Edge Hydro Arm Warmers comes in White or Black. Sizes run from Small to XX-Large.

Louis Garneau Arm Warmers 2 How do you plan for changing weather conditions over the course of a ride' By making your outfit as adaptable as possible. For fall, many of us choose to delay breaking out our jackets and long-sleeve jerseys for a more segmented approach--one that includes arm warmers such as the Louis Garneau Arm Warmers 2. When worn with a regular jersey, and perhaps a wind-stopping base layer, they give you insurance against the cold, and the ability to cool off if it warms up. The Arm Warmers 2 are made of Garneau's HeatMaxx fabric, a polyester/elastane blend with a brushed fleece back to retain body heat. A silicone gripper at the bicep keeps each arm warmer from sliding down and exposing a gap beneath your jersey sleeve. Flatlock seams ensure minimal friction against your skin, and a reflective logo on the forearm adds some extra visibility from the side. The Arm Warmers 2 also have a UPF/SPF rating of 50. The Louis Garneau Arm Warmers 2 come in sizes X-Small through X-Large and in three colors: Black, White, and Red.

Louis Garneau Speed Bolero We understand that during a triathlon, you're traveling light. That's why the Louis Garneau Speed Bolero is ideal for a race where the sun refuses to shine. The Speed Bolero protects the portions of your body that get drilled by wind in the TT position, and leaves the rest to providence. Lightweight and far from bulky, slip on the Bolero and reap the benefits of speed. Louis Garneau made its Speed Bolero from the Aero Tech fabric -- a derivative of the compressive Lycra Power. Designed to fit in a true-to-form Bolero style, the Speed Bolero keeps the arms and shoulders covered and protected from the detrimental effects of the sun. To achieve this, Louis Garneau has given the piece a UPF/SPF 50 protective treatment. That's all great, but the question remains -- why would you wear it' The answer is simple. The Speed Bolero has been tunnel-tested to enhance its aerodynamic properties. Additionally, it wicks sweat away from the skin for a dry riding experience, but most importantly, the Bolero has compressive qualities. This means that the snug-fit of the top assists proper blood flow, and thus reduces the buildup of lactic acids. Garneau even claims that athletes using Lycra Power designs encounter a 12% increase in power. The Louis Garneau Speed Bolero is available in the color White and in four sizes from X-Small to Large.

This anatomic construction, combined with wide, elastic openings and seamless construction give the warmers an ergonomic fit. Pearl Izumi also refined the warmers by incorporating an upper arm scallop to allow for an extra bit of fabric at the top of the sleeve to avoid the annoying gap between the jersey and the warmer. The openings also have elacticized grippers to help prevent the warmer from moving.Since these are intended for the overcast and short days of early season riding, Pearl also added plenty of reflective elements for low light safety. ZOOT Zoot Ultra CompressRx Thermal Arm Warmers We must proclaim our love for the portable warmth of arm warmers, because we rely on warmers during most months of the year. The reason is simple. Most of our rides often involve long, winding trips into high elevations where we sweat it out on the way to the top and then, if unprepared, freeze on the way down. Thankfully, though, the Zoot Ultra CompressRx Thermal Arm Warmers take the benefits of arm warmers one step further by offering fatigue-lessening, recovery-aiding compression in addition to warmth. The Ultra CompressRx Arm Warmers use Zoot's SynchroRx Thermal fabric to trap warm air against the skin, providing an 11-degree boost in surface temperature. Additionally, Zoot's CompressRx fabric creates graduated compression that improves blood flow back to the heart. The compression is highest around the wrist, reducing to lower compression toward the bicep and upper arm. Think of it as squeezing a tube of toothpaste from the bottom-up. Ultimately, this design lessens muscle fatigue by improving blood flow as well as by minimizing muscle oscillation from jarring roads. Further along the lines of the latter, Zoot's ZoneRx fabric covers the bicep in order to provide additional muscle support that combats road vibration. The Zoot Ultra CompressRx Thermal Arm Warmers feature a Silver Tech treatment that prevents the growth of odor-causing bacteria. The warmers are available in the color Black and in six sizes from 0 to 5.
