Three aluminum buckles secure your feet so you can experience the best control and response possible. This all-mountain slayer also comes with a Multi-Norm Chassis and DIN grip pads that help ensure solid traction on rock, icy terrain, and snowy walkways. It seems like ski boots are always sacrificing comfort with performance, or vice versa--queue up Dalbello's Blender I. D. Ski Boot, an all-mountain schralper that's powerful enough for park skiing yet comfortable enough for all-day cruising. Like all of Dalbello's top performers, the Blender features a Cabrio design that uses three separate pieces (shell, cuff, tongue) to secure the fit, provide a fluid flex, and absorb vibration. Unlike most Dalbello boots, the Blender has an adjustable flex that allows you to decide how hard you want to charge that day.The Blender also features a unique TLG elastic upper cuff that absorbs more shock when you're coming in for a landing off large jumps. The My Fit liner is thermo-moldable for a customized feel, and the liner has a soft and smooth faux fur inside it for even more comfort. Dalbello Sports Il Moro Team I.D. Ski Boot Dalbello Sports Il Moro Team I.D. Ski Boot
What happens when you take a gaggle of the best skiers in the world, stick them in a lab with R&D engineers, and tell them to come up with a boot' That Dalbello Il Moro Team I. D. Men's Ski Boot, that's what. Designed to help Dalbello's team riders (guys like Tanner Hall, Russ Henshaw, and Nick Goepper) jib the bejesus out of the mountain and scare the crap out of themselves in the park, the Il Moro is a seriously sick combination of freeride charger and progressive park crusher. This masterpiece starts with Dalbello's three-piece Cabrio architecture. The shell and cuff are made of rigid polyethylene and polyurethane to provide precise feedback and direct plenty of power laterally to your edges, while the Kinetic Response tongue is made of polyamide for a smooth, progressive flex that can ramp up to slay lines or be dialed down for serious park performance, so you can kiss shin-bang goodbye without sacrificing hard-charging power. The Il Moro's also designed to throw down an unbeatable snug and comfortable fit with a Dynalink rearfoot retention system that's linked to the inside of the shell to provide a snug fit and killer heel hold without messing up the carefully-dialed flex of the upper cuff. There's even an inverted toe buckle that presses the foot down into the bootboard and is positioned on top of the foot to prevent breaking and bending when you're getting jib-tastic.All this tech would come to nothing if the Il Moro's fit wasn't dialed. Of course, it is, with a heat-moldable wrap-style My Fit liner and fully adjustable cant, flex, and lean adjustments so you can dial everything in to your exact specs. Throw in a shock-reducing bootboard and big-ski-friendly, center-balanced rocker stance, and it's no surprise that the Il Moro's been getting rowdier than most other boots out there and taking home medals like they're being given out for free.

Dalbello Sports Krypton Chakra Ski Boot - Women's Dalbello Sports Krypton Chakra Ski Boot - Women's
Ladies looking for a smooth-flexing boot with a snug last would do well to give the Dalbello Krypton Chakra Women's Ski Boot a spin. It has the same 95 flex as the Kyra, but a last that's 3mm narrower for a slightly more aggressive feel, along with tech taken from Dalbello's more aggressive freeride boots, making the Chakra perfect for intermediates who like to ski hard without scaring themselves silly. Since the Kyra's a Dalbello, it's not surprising that it uses the company's classic three-piece Cabrio Design Architecture, which features a stiff lower shell and cuff along with an easy-flexing tongue for plenty of lateral power transmission without overwhelming front-to-back stiffness or the shin bang that comes with it.The Chakra's also been hooked up with a pre-punched Contour 4 shell designed to accommodate your navicular, metatarsal, and ankle bones, and a Trufit Performer Lady liner that works with the shell to give you a snug, slop-free fit without pinching or squeezing your toes to death. Dalbello also built in a Low Contour Profile cuff, which has a lower cut and higher volume for women's calves, and gave the Chakra the same Dynalink rearfoot retention system and inverted forefoot buckle as its freeride boots for a performance fit without the pain. Throw in adjustable flex, canting, and lean options, replaceable toe and heel lugs, and a centered stance designed to drive today's bigger skis, and the Chakra's more than ready to venture all over the mountain with you.

Dalbello Sports Krypton Fusion Ski Boot Dalbello Sports Krypton Fusion Ski Boot
Sitting just behind the Krypton Pro in Dalbello's big mountain freeride line, the Krypton Fusion Men's Ski Boot throws down with the same tech and high-performance features as its slightly burlier brother, but with a more manageable 120 flex that's money for shredders looking to step their game up a notch. The 98mm last provides the same snug-fitting performance as the Krypton 2, and the Fusion has the same pre-punched Contour 4 shell fit that's designed to fit the awkward knobs on your foot comfortably, with only minimal shell fiddling. Your heel will feel more solidly locked down than it ever has, courtesy of Dalbello's legendary Dynalink Rearfoot Retention system, and the inverted forefoot buckle will wrap your foot into the bootboard rather than squeeze the shell around your toes, giving you a super-stable platform for responsiveness without pinching. Of course, the Fusion would hardly be a Dalbello if it didn't have the classic three-piece Cabrio design architecture, which uses a stiff shell and cuff for serious lateral power transmission--think bomber edging--but a progressively flexing tongue that skis equally well and comfortably whether you're putting the hammer down or cruising groomers with your little grom cousin. Bonus: the tongue helps to reduce shin bang and makes the Fusion easier to get on and off, too. Like all Dalbello freeride boots, the Fusion features a center-balanced Rocker stance, which makes it easier to ski today's big, progressively shaped skis, and lets you adjust the lean, flex, and canting so you can always have your boot dialed to perfection.

Dalbello Sports Krypton Kryzma I.D. Ski Boot - Women's Dalbello Sports Krypton Kryzma I.D. Ski Boot - Women's
Designed for skiers who like to charge all over the mountain, the Dalbello Krypton Kryzma I. D. Women's Ski Boot has all the same features as Dalbello's other top-shelf freeride boots, but with a slightly friendlier 115 flex that can be ridden hard by rippers who don't tip the scales. Using Dalbello's famous three-pice Cabrio archtiecture--a stiff shell and cuff with a progressively-flexing (and swappable) polyamide tongue--the Kryzma provides plenty of side-to-side stiffness to transfer energy into your edges and prevent slop, with a flex that's tough enough to handle hard-charging lines and mild enough to dominate in the park. If that's not sweet enough, it also comes with interchangeable firm and anti-shock bootboards for charging and jibbing, respectively, along with canting, flex, and lean adjustments, so you can dial in the perfect setup for whatever's on the shred menu. You probably won't have to do much fiddling with your stance or fit, though, because the Kryzma's designed to be money right out of the box. The Contour 4 shell fit is designed to accommodate ankle, metatarsal, and navicular bones without the need for punches and grinds, and the center-balanced Rocker stance is specifically engineered to drive fat and progressively shaped skis from a more neutral position. Once your foot's in the Kryzma, it'll stay there, too, because the I. D. Pro liner is fully heat moldable, and the Dynalink rearfoot retention system (basically a buckle that pulls your heel directly into the pocket) provides ridiculous amounts of heel hold without interfering with the flex of the shell. The forefoot buckle's been inverted, which presses your foot down into the boot and resists breaking and bending more effectively than a traditional buckle. The upshot of all this' You can point the Kryzma at big lines, big jumps, or blower pow with confidence, knowing that even if you do fall, at least it won't be your boots' fault.

Dalbello Sports Krypton Lotus Ski Boot - Women's Dalbello Sports Krypton Lotus Ski Boot - Women's
It used to be that in order to make a women-specific boot, super-smart engineering "geniuses" would just shoot a men's boot with a shrink ray and paint it pink. Good thinking, Einsteins. Fortunately, times have changed and companies like Dalbello are giving the girls the attention they deserve with boots like the Krypton Lotus Ski boot, which is specifically formed to fit the feet of a freeriding female. To achieve this, the Lotus has a narrower, lower-volume fit than Dalbello's men's boots, with a tapered rearfoot last, higher instep, and more roomy forefoot. The low-profile cuff is designed to fit women's calves without pinching, and the Countour 4 shell accommodates anatomical contours without needing a ton of shell punches to achieve a comfortable fit. Additionally, the Lotus comes with a faux fur lined Trufit Performer liner, which is insanely comfy right out of the box. With most Dalbellos, the conversation has to include the three-piece Cabrio Design Architecture, which uses a stiff shell and cuff with a forgiving polyamide tongue to provide excellent lateral power transmission while keeping the flex soft enough for lighter skiers to effectively drive their skis, not be driven by them. The Cabrio Architecture is complemented by the Dynalink Rearfoot Retention system at the instep buckle, which uses a buckle and plastic strap anchored at the ankle on both sides of the shell, locking the foot into place without affecting the flex of the cuff, giving a consistent, progressive flex and reducing shin bang when you're skiing hard or lapping the park. Throw in a center-balance stance designed to drive fat new-school skis, along with grippy and replaceable DuraGrip heel and toe lugs, and it's easy to see that the Lotus is an all-mountain champ just for the ladies.

Dalbello Sports Krypton Pro I.D. Ski Boot Dalbello Sports Krypton Pro I.D. Ski Boot
When you're sailing through alfredo-rich couloirs or flying faster than the speed of light down your dream line of choice, you can count on the Dalbello Men's Krypton Pro I. D. Ski Boot to take you the distance. Designed with a center-balanced Rocker stance, the Krypton utilizes a low footboard ramp and upright cuff to provide optimal performance on rockered skis and efficient power transfer with the least amount of quad fatigue. The boot features a stiff 130 flex and narrow 98mm last, enabling expert-level performance, power, and sensitivity required for exploding through technical ravines, launching cliffs, and leaning clean into the mountainside.Built for enduring a bar fight with a yeti, the shell and cuff are crafted with rigid polyurethane for stone-solid lateral stability and power transmission at max speeds, while the Kinetic Response tongue--available with interchangeable stiff and medium offerings--is made with a flex ribbed polyamide design that sits flush with the leg, making it perfect for sending on steep faces or traversing through tricky terrain. The three-piece design Cabrio architecture is specific to Dalbello and combines the geometrical anatomy of the boot, shell, and cuff technologies for a dynamic, progressive flex and and lateral support on irregular terrain.Designed to fit like a glove, this boot is equipped with a heat-moldable My Fit liner and multiple canting, flex, and lean adjustment options. The midfoot Dynalink retention system attaches to the shell and hugs your heel securely within the heel pocket without interfering with the boot's flex, while the F16 aluminum buckles are easily adjustable for a fine-tuned fit. The bootboard comes with two options: shock-absorbing or firm, so you can break free from sloppy seconds.

Dalbello Sports Kyra 95 I.D. Ski Boot - Women's Dalbello Sports Kyra 95 I.D. Ski Boot - Women's
Ladies like to tackle the same terrain as duders, but that doesn't mean they should have to use the same clunky boots as all the bros. Luckily, the Dalbello Kyra 95 I. D. Women's Ski Boot offers all the comfort and performance you need to properly schralp the whole mountain in a comfortable package that's designed specifically to fit a lady's foot. It all starts with the three-piece Cabrio Design Architecture, which employs stiff plastic in the cuff and lower shell along with a gently-flexing tongue, so you'll have plenty of lateral stiffness but a smooth forward flex that, along with the Kyra's 95 flex rating, gives you a comfortable and forgiving ride in any terrain. The hits keep coming, though, starting with the Kyra's Contour 4 shell fit and thermo-moldable My Fit liner that works in conjunction to fit comfortably around the bones of your foot with minimal modification. Complemented by the adjustable cuff, adjustable flex, and adjustable canting, this lets you dial in the Kyra's fit to suit your anatomy, meaning you can ski comfortably from bell to bell without stopping to bring your feet back to life. Don't think all this comfort compromises performance, because the Kyra still features a center-balanced stance designed to handle today's new-school skis, a Dynalink rearfoot retention system that provides serious heel hold without compromising flex, and a rubber-clad sole with replaceable toe and heel lugs to make traversing slick parking lots a no-stress proposition. There's even an easy-to-use ski/hike mode switch, so you can take short hikes to powder stashes without struggling against your boots.

Dalbello Sports Lupo SP I.D. Ski Boot Dalbello Sports Lupo SP I.D. Ski Boot
The Dalbello Lupo SP I. D. Men's Ski Boot is--let's be real--a beast, with a 130 flex and a ski/hike mode that make it easier to get to the top of backcountry lines and shred them to smithereens. It's not designed for long tours where the approach is a priority, but for short skins outside the resort boundary and in-bounds approaches where you're focused on making the way down look good and the way up a little easier. It also has a rubber-clad arch for some grip, and replaceable toe and heel lugs that let you keep your ridgeline traction maxed out from year to year.Ignore the ski/hike mode, though, and the Lupo is pretty damn similar to Dalbello's world-crushing Krypton. It has the same three-piece Cabrio architecture, which employs a stiff polyurethane cuff and polyether shell for powerful lateral stiffness and power transmission, and a progressively flexing Kinetic Response tongue for stiffness when you're descending and flexibility on the uphill (the Lupo comes stock with the 130-flex "C' tongue). The Contour 4 shell is also mapped to accommodate your ankle and foot bones, reducing the amount of punching and grinding you'll have to do, and it has a heat-moldable I. D. Max Hike liner for comfort and serious performance on the hike and the descent. The Lupo also has the same Dynalink rearfoot retention system as Dalbello's more freestyle-oriented boots. Attaching to the shell, rather than the cuff, it pulls your heel snugly into the heel pocket without interfering with the boot's flex or deforming the fit. The toe buckle is located on top of the boot, which pulls your foot down into bootboard rather than squeezing the shell around it, and it also helps prevent breaking and bending in a crash (not that you'd ever do that). The Lupo also has a center-balanced Rocker stance that's designed to drive fat, rockered skis comfortably, too, so you won't have to mess around with lean angles and stances (although with canting, flex, and lean adjustments, you could if you wa...

Dalbello Sports Lupo T.I. I.D. Ski Touring Boot Dalbello Sports Lupo T.I. I.D. Ski Touring Boot
Coming out with totally new stuff every year isn't Dalbello's M. O., because it'd rather work on perfecting what it has than trying to reinvent an already awesome wheel. Case in point: the Lupo T. I. I. D. Men's Ski Boot, which is a refined version of the SP I. D. made with lighter plastics, touring-friendly sole lugs, and alloy tech inserts so you can rally around the backcountry, uphill and down, like a squirrel that's had its tail set on fire.Dalbello knows what works, so it didn't change much between the Lupo T. I. I. D. and the SP I. D. The three-piece Cabrio design works as well for touring as it does for in-bounds schralping, with a killer combination of precision, comfort, and energy transfer, and Dalbello's legendary interchangeable tongue design lets you rock a stiff 130 flex. Unchanged too are the venerable Contour 4 Shell fit, which is anatomically designed to accommodate the weird bumps on your ankles, toes, and feet without tons of grinding and punching, and the center-balanced Rocker stance, which puts you in a more neutral position that's well-suited for riding fat, rockered skis.It did change the cuff material from PU to a lighter, stiffer polymer called dbHylite, which trims a few ounces off the SP I. D.'s weight and lets you ski the T. I. I. D. harder and faster. Different, too, are the replaceable Xtra-Grip rubber sole lugs, which have the rockered shape that works with tech bindings and frame-style alpine touring bindings, but not with traditional alpine clamps. This touring-specific design is reinforced by the boot's I. D. Max Hike wrap-style liner and burly, reliable ski/hike switch that unlocks the cuff for easy hiking and clamps down for bomber downhill performance. The T. I. I. D. also serves up Dalbello's legendary Dynalink rearfoot retention system, which pulls your heel into the pocket for a killer slop-free fit, along with a more durable inverted forefoot buckle and canting, flex, and lean adjustments that allow you to nail a near-...

Dalbello Sports Panterra 100 Ski Boot Dalbello Sports Panterra 100 Ski Boot
Blending a comfortable, mid-wide last with a moderate level of stiffness and a bevy of killer features, the Dalbello Panterra 100 Ski Boot is perfect for intermediate skiers looking to slice and dice the whole mountain from top to bottom. It's designed using Dalbello's signature three-piece Cabrio Design Architecture, which uses a stiff lower shell and upper cuff to provide loads of lateral stiffness, along with a progressively flexing external tongue that gives the boot a smooth and consistent flex without the pain of traditional two-piece boots. The Split Fit tongue design also makes the Panterra easy to get on and off, so your mornings will stop being the most painful part of your day.In addition to the three-piece design, Dalbello's Contour 4 shell fit features pre-punched areas designed to comfortably accommodate navicular, metatarsal, and ankle bones, and a Trufit Performer liner that's specially formed to fit with the Panterra's shell shape. It's also heat moldable, if you'd like to fine tune the fit even more, and the shell comes with an adjustable heel inclinator, canting mechanism, and flex, so you can dial it in to your exact specs. If all that still doesn't float your boat, check out the Dynalink Heel Retention system, which uses a flexible cuff-to-cuff link to lock your heel securely into the heel pocket, and the Variable Volume Fit system, which lets you dial in the fit on the toe buckle and take the boot on and off without having to undo or readjust it. Dalbello Sports Panterra 120 I.D. Ski Boot Dalbello Sports Panterra 120 I.D. Ski Boot
Dalbello likes following industry trends about as much as your cat likes riding in the car, so it should come as no surprise that the Panterra 120 I. D. Men's Ski Boot is a little different than most all-mountain boots. The goal is the same--domination of steeps, shredding of groomers, and slaying of cold smoke--but the Panterra goes about getting there in a slightly different way, starting with Dalbello's famous three-piece Cabrio architecture, which combines a polyurethane shell and cuff with a progressively flexing polyamide tongue for lateral stiffness and a smooth, consistent flex. This lets the Panterra transfer energy into the ski powerfully and efficiently without having the leg-killing qualities of a race boot or the squishy slipper feel of a park boot. The Panterra also features Dalbello's Variable Volume Fit system, which lets you adjust the last from 100 to 102mm just by tightening the toe buckle, eliminating pinching and foot-crushing tightness. Once the buckle's been set, there's no need to undo it, either, since the Panterra's designed to be taken on and off using only the three top buckles. In addition to the adjustable last width, the Contour 4 shell fit is pre-mapped to the anatomical contours of the foot for a more comfortable out-of-the-box feel with minimal punching and grinding required. The boot also has canting and flex adjustments and comes with a heat-moldable I. D. Now liner that allows you to dial in the perfect fit.As skis have gotten bigger and wider, they've started to require a more neutral, center-balanced approach, which Dalbello builds into the Panterra in the form of its Rocker stance, which helps you ride fat, rockered skis as they're meant to be ridden. The Dynafit rearfoot retention strap pulls your heel straight into the pocket, for hold without shell distortion or pain, and the ski/walk switch and rubber-clad arch and replaceable polyurethane toe and heel lugs let you make short work of exposed ridges, slick rocks, and icy ...

Dalbello Sports Panterra 130 I.D. Ski Boot Dalbello Sports Panterra 130 I.D. Ski Boot
The original ski/hike boots were made of leather, which was great for the uphills but made things tough on the early freeriders. Luckily for us, leathers have gone the way of the 210cm straight ski, and we've been spoiled by the aggressive, high-powered design of ski/hike boots like the Dalbello Panterra 130 I. D Ski Boot.Don't confuse the Panterra with a lightweight AT boot--it's a downhill-first beast designed to be skied hard. It comes with a hard-riding 130 flex that you can push as hard as you like without overwhelming the boot and a center-balanced Rocker stance that's meant to help you stay balanced on wider, bigger skis. A Dalbello isn't a Dalbello without the famous Cabrio three-piece design and Contour 4 shell fit, both of which are designed to provide maximum adjustability and comfort without the need for lots of grinding, punching, or fiddling. The Panterra also comes complete with adjustable flex, lean, heel inclination, and canting, so you can dial the boot in to your exact specs without spending hours, and stacks of cash, at the bootfitter. The Panterra's hits just keep on coming, too. The Split Fit tongue makes it easy and comfortable to slide your boots on and off, even with their burly design, and the I. D. Max heat-moldable liner provides fully customizable comfort, warmth, and snug precision. Like any good Dalbello, the Panterra also sports the legendary Dynalink Rearfoot Retention buckle, which pulls your heel into the pocket for unbeatable heel hold. At the toe, the Variable Volume Fit buckle lets you select between three last widths--100, 101, and 102mm. And, of course, we'd be remiss not to mention the Panterra's Hike/Ski cuff mechanism, which lets you unlock the cuff from the shell for better ankle flexion and easier hiking, so you can cruise up those in-bounds and backside hikes before all the Joeys have left the traverse.

Dalbello Sports Rampage I.D. Ski Boot Dalbello Sports Rampage I.D. Ski Boot
With the Dalbello Rampage I. D. Ski Boot on your feet, you'll be able to send booters, grease rails, and pop off natural features all season without fear of being sidelined by shin bang. Thanks to the pre-punched Contour 4 shell and heat-moldable liner, the Rampage delivers a comfortable and responsive fit out of the box. By using three pieces of plastic instead of the traditional two, Dalbello is able to use super-stiff plastic in the lower shell and cuff for serious control and lateral stability, but still offer up a comfortable, progressively flexing tongue that'll give just enough on hard park landings while offering up plenty of support when you're rallying the rest of the mountain.Dalbello also cooked up a whole mess of fit refinements over the years, a number of which are featured on the Rampage. Key among them is the Dynalink Rearfoot Retention system, which uses a flexible cable to pull the foot back into the heel pocket for bomber hold when you're pushing the limit. By connecting the cable from shell-to-shell, instead of shell-to-cuff, Dalbello's able to keep the Rampage's flex smooth and consistent and virtually eliminate heel lift, letting you ski harder and more securely in any terrain. The inverted forefoot buckle also pulls your foot down into the bootboard, instead of pinching the shell around the ball of your foot, and the adjustable lean, flex, and canting mechanisms let you get the Rampage's fit tighter than your favorite set of man-tights. As a final touch, Dalbello designed the Rampage with a center-balanced Rocker stance, which provides a more neutral platform for wide and rockered skis, and it made sure the toe and heel lugs are replaceable, keeping your soles grippy and your bindings releasing properly.

Full Tilt's three-piece boot design is damn near legendary, and for good reason. No other boot provides heel hold that's as solid or a flex that's as customizable, which has made Full Tilt one of the go-tos for park riders and freestyler shredders for years. You don't have to be super hardcore to enjoy Full Tilts, though--with intermediate-friendly boots like the Men's Descendant 4 Ski Boot, you can reap all the benefits of flex and lean adjustments, three-piece construction, and three-buckle design without needing to ski like Seth Morrison. The Descendant 4 has a pretty wide 102mm last but medium calf volume, so it's perfect for skiers with a reasonably beefy foot that's stuck on to a more normal-size leg. Full Tilt ships the boot with a tongue that's rated 4/10, so the flex of the boot is perfect for casual cruising, park riding, and progression, but you can pick up stiffer tongues if you're looking for a little more power. The heat-moldable Focused Intuition liner wraps around your leg for full comfort and control, and the adjustable aluminum buckles provide a highly tuneable fit. The Descendant also employs Fill Tilt's legendary three-buckle design, which pulls your heel into the pocket to prevent slipping and increase control. It also sports replaceable heel and toe lugs, so you don't have to worry about scuffing your boots down to nothing after seasons of parking lot walks, stair climbs, and rock scrambles.

Full Tilt Descendant 6 Ski Boot Full Tilt Descendant 6 Ski Boot
We all know that guy that swears by his Full Tilts and doesn't shy away from singing their praises to everyone he meets on the chairlift. But for those of us who have a foot shaped better for swimming than skiing, the narrow 99mm last found on most boots is enough to make your bone spurs cringe and toes instinctively curl up on each other. If the cost of your toe nails has hardly seemed worth the price of the progressive forward flex, customizable stiffness, and boot-bang free performance a pair of Full Tilts offer, then step your wide footed self into the Full Tilt Men's Descendant 6 Ski Boot and let your toes roam free as you stomp big lines, jumps, and jib just about every feature you encounter. The Descendant is a Full Tilt, so you'll find all the features that have allowed the company to achieve legend status over the years. The boot has that Full Tilt three-piece shell with a medium flex tongue attached. The shock absorbing foot board helps to absorb vibrations when you're skiing fast on variable snow and will cushion big impacts when you stomp landings on packed-out transitions. The ribbed tongue bends, so you'll never bottom the boot out, or suffer from shin-bang after a big landing. Three micro-adjustable buckles let you fasten the boots down as tight as you need to ski as aggressively as you want, while a large power strap keeps the boot responsive and snug. The liner is made with Intuition foam, so it can be heat-molded to better fit the shape of your foot, while an additional layer of high-density closed cell foam is placed along the outside of the cuff of the liner to drive energy more efficiently to the shell for even more performance. Whew, if that sounds like a lot, then that's probably because it is, but your boots are the most important component in your setup, so they probably shouldn't skimp on features.

Full Tilt Descendant 8 Ski Boot Full Tilt Descendant 8 Ski Boot
Lets face it--being the descendant of a long line of boots that ski as hard and are as famously comfortable as Full Tilts puts a lot of expectations on any new generation of boots that might come down the line. And while the Full Tilt Men's Descendant 8 Ski Boots may be a whole new build for Full Tilt, they still have the pedigree of a tried and true Full Tilt, so you can bet your beer money that they'll provide the same infinite flex, top-shelf comfort, and customizable flex of the old standbys in the Full Tilt line. The Descendant is an all-new build for Full Tilt and has been rebuilt from the ground up. The newly designed Evolution Shell weaves the same components of traditional Full Tilt boots with with a wider last, dual material soles, and a re-worked buckle system, so you get the same performance you've come to expect from Full Tilt, without having to cram your wide foot in a pair of narrow boots. Full Tilt knows the best way to ruin a good thing is by changing it, so you'll find the same free flexing cuff that won't bottom out on you, as well as the same customizable flex, which allows you to adjust the stiffness of the boot to better suit temperature, snow conditions, or what kind of skiing you're planning on doing. The shock absorbing boot board remains intact with a shock-absorbing layer of rubber integrated into the sole of the shell for an always smooth ride. The Descendant keeps the same Quick Fit liners that can be heat molded, but also use multiple densities of foam to offer supreme comfort and better responsiveness where you need it most.

Full Tilt Drop Kick Ski Boot - Men's Full Tilt Drop Kick Ski Boot - Men's
Getting banged up is one of the consequences of pushing the limits--you're bound to have your fair share of busted bones and shattered egos, but at least you can count on the Full Tilt Drop Kick Men's Ski Boot to prevent your feet and shins from enduring any unnecessary pain. This is partly due to Full Tilt's famous three-part shell construction, which uses a fully pivoting ribbed tongue and free-flexing rear cuff to provide a smooth and consistent flex. Not to mention, you can thank the wide toe box that lets your feet maintain circulation without feeling loose or sloppy. The Drop Kick comes with a tongue that's rated medium on Full Tilt's scale, but it's super easy to swap it out for a stiffer or softer tongue, if you want to fine-tune your boot's flex. Don't be in too great of hurry to swap tongues, though, because a good deal of the Drop Kick's stiffness is provided by the heat-moldable Inutition Performer liner, which uses three layers of foam to provide a reasonably thin performance fit that's still comfortable and cushy where you need it to be. Full Tilt's got the whole fit thing dialed: nylon ratchet buckles and foot-wrapping cables provide a precise fit without clamping down too hard and affecting the flex of the boot. The shock absorbing footbed helps to cushion hard landings, while the rubber heel adds some more shock absorption and grip on rocky ridge walks and slick parking lots, which are often the most dangerous part of a days' shred.

Full Tilt First Chair 10 Ski Boot - Men's Full Tilt First Chair 10 Ski Boot - Men's
When your alarm goes off early on Saturday morning, don't be the guy who accidentally shuts it off and falls back to sleep, only to arrive at the resort disheveled around noon, freshies nowhere to be found. Instead, drag yourself out of bed and get in the car with your Full Tilt First Chair 10 Ski Boot in tow. You'll eventually have to take your feet out of your favorite slippers, but with the First Chair's Intuition liner, open toe box, and free flexing cuff, your feet won't even miss 'em. Earning the distinction as the stiffest boot in Full Tilt's lineup, the First Chair 10 comes in at a 10 out of 10 on Full Tilt's stiffness scale. If you like a stiff boot with a little extra cush to soften your landings after you huck a cliff or two, Full Tilt's freeride-leaning boots are the way to go. The brand takes fit pretty seriously, using a flexible 3-piece FTS Soul shell that wraps around your ankle and foot with security, but none of the digging and pinching your poor ski racing friends are always whining about. A 99mm last accommodates medium-to-narrow feet, and an open toe box gives your toes room to splay out as you adjust your balance heading into filthy pillow lines. As with other Full Tilt boots, the First Chair 10 gives you free reign to play around with fit and feel. Swap out the tongue for a softer flex to duck into the park for the day, adjust the lateral angle and forward lean easily at home, and crank down the power strap for a little extra reassurance when you head to the steeps. Inside the boot, a thermo-moldable Intuition liner will bend and yield to all of the awkward lumps and bumps your feet have earned from years of skiing, ensuring you have a responsive fit you can count on when you're staring down a gun barrel chute. Aluminum buckles with cable closure dial in the right fit without numbing your toes, and rubber soles along the toe and heel provide traction and grip when the bootpack gets exposed.

Full Tilt First Chair 8 Ski Boot - Men's Full Tilt First Chair 8 Ski Boot - Men's
There's a common misconception that high-performance boots for freeride and park destruction will also destroy your shins, but the Full Tilt Men's First Chair 8 Ski Boot is here to prove otherwise. Replacing the Konflict in the Full Tilt lineup, the First Chair 8 is built on the FTS Soul Chassis, giving the boot a narrow-medium 99mm last, stiff flex, and the same smooth, natural, pinch-free flex pattern you've come to love and expect from Full Tilt. The First Chair 8 is geared towards the hard-charger that expects a snug, responsive fit whether they're skiing pillow lines, crushing tight chutes, or stomping tricks in the park. The First Chair maintains the same last as years past, but with a slightly roomier toe box for just a bit more comfort than the old Konflict. The boots feature Full Tilt's customizable flex, but they come standard with a #8 tongue, making them a stiff, hard-charging boot right out of the box. The non-slip rubber sole is replaceable, should you happen to spend a few seasons dragging your heels across the resort parking lot or kicking your toes into volcanic gravel hiking the park at Hood during the summer. You'll find the same shock absorbing boot board that saves your feet during big landings, and the same ribbed tongue that won't bottom out on you when you're skiing hard or dropping stacked pillow lines. Like all Full Tilt boots, the ingenious, bulk-free design of the First Chair 8 checks in at around two pounds lighter than similarly sized alpine boots, which gives you that much more pop in your two-sev on to the down-flat-down.

Full Tilt Plush 4 Ski Boot - Women's Full Tilt Plush 4 Ski Boot - Women's
It's really hard to ski well when your feet feel like they're dying, so Full Tilt pulled out all the stops to make the Plush 4 Women's Ski Boot the comfiest shoe on the market, so you can focus on riding and not how much pain your toes are in. It redesigned the FTE Evolution shell with an extra-wide 102mm last to completely relieve pinching and tight spots, and outfitted the Plush with a fully moldable wrap-style Quick Fit Intuition liner to eliminate seams and help your toes stay warm and comfy. Of course, the Plush 4 wouldn't be a Full Tilt without the legendary three-piece design, ribbed tongue, and Infinite Pivot cuff, which allow the boot to flex smoothly and consistently all the way through, with no dead spots or sudden stops. Three cable buckles provide a snug and pinch-free closure that stops the shell from deforming when it's buckles, and the rigid boot board relays precise input from the snow without banging your feet to bits. Full Tilt also built in forward lean and lateral adjustments, and, of course, designed the Plush 4 with it's famous interchangeable tongue system, so you can customize the flex as you see fit.

Full Tilt Plush 6 Ski Boot - Women's Full Tilt Plush 6 Ski Boot - Women's
Plush isn't a word you would use to describe your ski boots. If stiff, painful, and miserable are the kind of adjectives you use to describe your boots, then it might be time for you step into a pair of Full Tilt Women's Plush 6 Ski Boots. We've all heard of Full Tilt's customizable flex, forward-flexing ribbed tongue, and innovative three-piece shell, but what you probably don't know is that Full Tilt is producing boots to accommodate wider feet, so you don't have to try and cram your flipper-footed self into a narrow 99mm lasted boot, just to get the performance of a Full Tilt boot. In fact, the Plush 6 comes with a spacious 102mm last, giving your toes plenty of wiggle room while maintaining all the same performance features we've all come to expect from Full Tilt. The boot comes with Full Tilt's medium flex tongue, but it can be fitted with stiffer or softer tongues (sold separate), depending on what you want from the boot. The free flexing cuff and ribbed tongue are designed to never bottom out, so you won't have to deal with day-ending shin-bang after a big landing, and the shock absorbing foot board works to keep the soles of your feet happy after stomping big landings and skiing on chunder and boilerplate. Full Tilt threw in its Quick Fit Liner that can be molded over time by the heat of your feet, or heat-molded by a shop for an instantly precise fit. And since the liner is designed by Full Tilt, it's specifically designed to work with the shell to optimize performance with varying amounts of foam used throughout the liner to maximize warmth, responsiveness, and an overall better fit and feel from the boot as a whole.

Full Tilt Rumor Ski Boot - Women's Full Tilt Rumor Ski Boot - Women's
It's difficult to confirm, but the scuttlebutt floating around says the Full Tilt Rumor Women's Ski Boot is the world's lightest high-performance women's boot. While no one has been able to confirm or deny this, we have been able to ascertain that it gets after it pretty hard--maybe the FTO Original three-piece shell is responsible. The pivoting tongue certainly makes the Rumor easy to get on and off, while the ribbed design and free-flexing cuff provide a smooth, consistent, and complete flex on groomers, in the park, and when you're ripping through powder. With a stiffness rating of 4 of 10, the Rumor's tongue won't overpower you, but it also has enough juice to go hard without feeling squishy (and, as with all Full Tilts, it's easy to install a stiffer tongue if you want). This lightweight charger also features a moderately thick, completely heat-moldable Intuition Performer liner to boost the Rumor's stiffness, and has a women-specific 99mm last and anatomically shaped cuff. The toe box is also wider to keep the blood circulating easily through your toes. Full Tilt's rigid boot board provides plenty of feedback and power without feeling like a brick underfoot, and the nylon ratchet buckles and cables wrap your foot instead of tightening the shell, so you can lock down a precise fit without affecting the Rumor's flex. The boot also features a rubber heel that helps absorb shock and gives you grip on on rocky ridges and icy parking lots.

In addition, this smartly-designed 99mm-lasted shell eliminates the need for thick, heavy overlapping plastic or bolts, which helps cut down on weight. And, thanks to the its Infinite Pivot design, the cuff pivots forward with your calf without ever coming to a stop, so you can ride with less shell distortion, no shin pain, and more control.Like every Full Tilt, the Soul Sister comes with an heat-moldable Intuition Pro Liner, which sports J-Bar technology, a J-shaped piece of foam that's added to both sides of the ankle areas to dramatically increase ankle and heel hold. In addition, a thinner foam is used in the front of liner to increase space without sacrificing control in the rest of the liner for those with a wider foot or who prefer a little more toe room.Equipped with an array of adjustment features, the Soul Sister features cables that wrap around the boot like a shoelace for even pressure distribution and increased comfort while eliminating dead spots. Its Widetrack Buckle system is engineered to increase precision and durability with on-the-fly, single-handed adjustments, and the ribbed tongue provides a smooth, consistent flex that also makes the boot easy to get on and off.

K2 Minaret 100 Ski Boot - Women's K2 Minaret 100 Ski Boot - Women's
Switching between skis as conditions and objectives change is nice. Switching between boots isn't quite as great, especially when your feet have made a cozy little niche for themselves in your go-to boots. Luckily for your feet, K2 has built the Women's Minaret 100 Ski Boot to do it all, so you can wear the same pair of boots when you take your lightweight touring set up out to the backcountry, load up your mid-fats for a little all-mountain slaying.Modeled after the K2 Pinnacle, the Minaret houses all of the same features, but sports a roomier 100mm last and medium flex for a more forgiving feel. It utilizes the same Synchro Interlock walk mode as the Pinnacle, which forgoes rivets in favor of an interlocking wedge and V-lock mechanism to lock the shell and cuff together once the boot is in ski mode, eliminating play. Adding to the overall stiffness of the boot is the Powerfuse Spyne, which extends from the cuff to the shell to deliver a more responsive and confidence-inspiring feel during the descent. The Minaret comes ready to step into just about any binding you might own with a DIN-compatible sole attached and tech fittings installed. K2 also offers a lugged Vibram sole (sold separately) if you're planning on spending a lot of time in the backountry.

K2 Spyne 130 Ski Boot K2 Spyne 130 Ski Boot
You love your old boots, but their liners are beyond packed out, their buckles are barely hanging in there, and what used to be a stiff 130 flex is starting to feel more like a squishy 90. It's time for an upgrade and K2 has joined the boot making game since the last time you were in the market for a new boot, so you can expect good things. Sitting at the top of K2's line of big mountain freeride boots, the Men's Spyne 130 Ski Boot is its most hard-charging offering with a stiff 130 flex, progressive fore and aft flex, and lasted Intuition Precisionfit liner. K2 has expanded its offering this season by offering the Spyne in three different last widths. This particular version of the Spyne sports a medium-wide last of 100mm.The Spyne incorporates much of the same technologies you'd expect to find on a high-end boot: four micro-adjustable buckles, a cinchable power strap, adjustable canting, and an adjustable forward lean, but where the Spyne really differs is with what K2 calls its E3 design philosophy. The E3 design philosophy combines a carbon-infused spine that runs down the back of the cuff to the heel of the shell to add an extra bit of rigidity to the boot--the carbon spine allows for less material to be used in the shell and cuff, resulting in a lighter boot that's also easier to work with in the shop. In addition to the Powerfuse Spyne, K2 also developed a connection between the shell and cuff by eliminating the use of rivets. The interlocking connection not only allows the boot to flex forward more naturally, but it puts less stress on the rest of the boot and offers a smoother ride as a result.

Lange RX 110 LV Ski Boot - Women's Lange RX 110 LV Ski Boot - Women's
The Lange Women's RX 110 LV Ski Boot was designed to give you the powerful connection you need to point your skis down tight chutes, arc down wide open groomers, and blast through pow like a proper mountain gal should. With a stiff 110 flex, the RX 110 is the stiffest offering in Lange's women-specific all-mountain RX line, and with a narrow 97mm last, it's the perfect option for skiers seeking a precise and performance-forward fit from their boots. The RX is made through Lange's mono injected process, which consists of a smooth and progressive polyether shell that will inspire confidence on both frontside groomers and back mountain bowls. Four stout aluminum buckles and a 40mm power strap puts the shell on lock down when it's time to lay the hammer down on the descent. To keep the boot warm and comfortable all day, Lange went ahead and threw in a heavy dose of Thinsulate insulation to deliver low-bulk warmth with additional insulation at the toe box and ankle. The liners are heat-moldable, allowing them to be customized to the shape of your foot. Since skiing the entire mountain will require some hiking up steep bootpacks and sketchy ridge lines, the RXs are fitted with vulcanized rubber soles to keep you secure on your feet when the hike turns dicey.

Lange RX 90 Ski Boot - Women's Lange RX 90 Ski Boot - Women's
Lange boots are bred from serious racing stock, but like that greyhound that your sister adopted, they can be sweet, loving, and friendly if you give 'em a chance. The RX 90 Women's Ski Boot, for example, is based on a classic Lange but has been significantly chilled out, with a very manageable 90 flex rating that you can push all over the mountain with confidence and a 100mm last that's slightly wider than the most aggressive Langes but narrow enough to hug your foot and eliminate that dreaded sloppy and imprecise feeling. While the RX 90 is a little more relaxed than race-ready boots, it has a lot in common with them, starting with the mono-injected shell. All Lange's boots use this construction for its smooth-flexing and consistent feel, and they also lock down with a classic four-buckle design (the Ergo Race buckles are made of durable aluminum and designed to be easy to manipulate with gloves on) that provides the most secure fit and strong, reliable feel. The cuff is also cut shorter to better fit female calves, and it's finished with a one-piece collar for a smooth fit that helps to eliminate shin bang and leg pain. Inside the RX 90 you'll find a Thermofit RL2 heat-moldable liner. Cushier than the RL1 but more aggressive than the RL3, it's the perfect choice choice for intermediate and lightweight experts, and Lange's even filled it up with Thinsulate insulation in key spots to keep your toes warmer so you can ski longer without stopping. The Power Wrap Tongue+ provides a firm and precise, but comfortable, feel in the front of the boot to increase control and help save your shins, and the Ultra Grip soles take the terror out of walking over exposed rocks and down icy base-lodge stairs.

Lange SX 100 Ski Boot Lange SX 100 Ski Boot
Who made this black and red abomination, stamped "Lange" on the side, and tried to pass it off as one of the legendary blue shoes' Shame on you! Really, though, it is actually an honest-to-godness Lange, but it's easy to be fooled by the red-and-black color scheme of the new SX 100 Men's Ski Boot; we checked it out, though, and it's real. Perhaps the new looks even make sense, because the SX 100 is a departure from the race-hungry Langes of yesteryear. It's wider, softer, and more forgiving, so intermediate level skiers can enjoy the legendary performance without worrying that their feet will actually fall off during a day on the hill. Unlike the seriously stiff blues that made Lange famous, the SX 90 is a gentler, friendler beast, with a comfortable 102mm last that won't squeeze your feet to death, a soft instep insert that makes slipping your boots on and off breezy, and killer liners that keep your toes toasty from your first morning groomer to the last tree run of the day. It sports a once-piece collar for a killer fit around the calf, and Ultra Grip soles that make harrowing parking-lot traverses and icy stair descents a little less terrifying. Lange wasn't about to opt for comfort at the cost of performance, though. The SX 90 features the same mono-injected construction as top-end Langes, because it provides the smoothest and most consistent flex in a variety of temperatures, and features the same lock-down four-buckle design that serves up the bombproof control that made Lange famous (the top buckle also features a highly adjustable Quickmacro ratchet adjustment for a personalized upper-leg fit). Inside the shell, the Thermofit RL3 heat-moldable liner will conform precisely to your foot for a snug, pressure-free fit and the Power Wrap Tongue+ will pass precise input into the shell, so you can cruise groomers, surf cold smoke, and zip through the trees from the first bell 'til the last.

Its new, more accessible kicks, like the SX 90 Women's Ski Boot, are opening up the Lange line to everyone. Unlike the seriously stiff blues that made Lange famous, the SX 90 is a gentler, friendler beast, with a comfortable 102mm last that won't squeeze your feet to death, a soft instep insert that makes slipping your boots on and off breezy, and Thinsulate-packed liners that keep your toes toasty from your first morning groomer to the last tree run of the day. Lange wasn't about to opt for comfort at the cost of performance, though. The SX 90 features the same mono-injected construction as top-end Langes, because it provides the smoothest and most consistent flex in a variety of temperatures and features the same lock-down four-buckle design that serves up the bombproof control that made Lange famous (the top buckle also features a highly adjustable Quickmacro ratchet adjustment for a personalized upper-leg fit). Inside the shell, the Thermofit RL3 heat-moldable liner will conform precisely to your foot for a snug, pressure-free fit, and the short cuff and one-piece collar contour to your calves for comfort and reduced shin bang, so you can cruise groomers, surf cold smoke, and zip through the trees from the first bell 'til the last.

This medium stiff option in the line is more forgiving than the XT 120 and 130 with a flex index of 100, and it has a roomy 100mm last for skiers looking for more comfort-forward fit.Being a Lange, the XT 100 comes from a long line of high performance race boots, as can be seen in its top-shelf construction. Lange XT 130 LV Ski Boot Lange XT 130 LV Ski Boot
When you want the precise performance of a race boot on both the front and backside of the mountain, look no further than the Lange Men's XT 130 LV Ski Boot. Being the low volume option of the XT 130, this boot has a narrow 97mm last, making it ideal for narrow feet and hard-chargers who want that precise, performance-first fit from their boots. Combining the legendary performance of Lange with the added convenience of a walk mode, the XT 130 is a true game-changer in the freeride world. A lot of boots may claim to combine hard-charging performance with a walk mode, but few, if any, have either the pedigree or powerful features of the Lange XT.With a stiff 130 flex, four aluminum buckles, and a metal-on-metal walk mode, the XT 130 serves up the same stiff and powerful feel you'd expect from a pair of Langes, but with a few added bells and whistles to make the transition from frontside groomers to backcountry zones that much easier. The Ski/Hike System 2. 0 features Lange's Power V-Lock technology, which consists of a metal-on-metal lock, so when they're locked in, they're locked in tight. The metal-on-metal connection also ensures that the system doesn't wear out after heavy and repeated use. Once flipped into walk mode, the XTR provides a respectable 20-degrees of cuff rotation, making the bootpack to those drool-worthy lines a whole lot easier. The interchangeable soles can be switched between rockered WTR soles and Lange's Ultra Grip traditional alpine soles. As you probably already suspected, the XT 130 is made with a combination of two top-shelf plastics, giving the boots a powerful and progressive flex, so you won't feel like you've sacrificed an ounce of performance for the added convenience of a walk mode. The cuff is composed of a stiff polyolefin plastic, while the shell material is a polyether material, which makes the XT just a bit more forgiving and easier on the feet. The Boot comes with Lange's Thermofit RL3 liner, which is heat-moldable to ensure...

Lange XT 90 Ski Boot - Women's Lange XT 90 Ski Boot - Women's
Backcountry exploration has officially blown up, so Lange's not offering one BC-capable boot, or even two--we haven't even counted, but it seems like it's serving up at least 340 different hike-mode-equipped kicks, and the XT 90 Women's Boot might be the most versatile of the bunch. For starters, it's built with a 100mm last that's slightly narrower than the XC 90, so you can enjoy a slightly snugger fit for more precision on the descent. Lange also hooked the liner up with Thinsulate insulation, so your toes will stay cozy when you're tearing up resort powder, zipping through tight trees, or hiking to the back bowls for some creamy turns. The Thermofit liner is also fully heat-moldable, too, so you can heat it up and have it conform to your foot for a killer custom fit that will improve comfort and precision at the same time. With a flex rating of 90, the XT 90 isn't the burliest boot out there, but it'll still give you a precise, reliable ride that most hiking-capable boots can't match. Like Lange's pure alpine boots, it's made with a mono-injected shell for the smoothest, most reliable flex around, and it locks down with four micro-adjustable buckles for a killer fit with tons of hold. The Power Wrap Tongue prevents shin bang, increases blood flow, and provides a reliable feel for the front of your boot no matter the temperature. Lange also built in a shorter women's cuff to fit comfortably around your calves, and included Ultra Grip soles and a grippy arch pad to help you scramble over rocks on the way to your favorite lines. If you're not already jazzed, allow us to mention the XT 90's not-so-secret weapon: the Power V-Lock 2. 0 ski/hike system. With the flip of a switch, you can release the cuff from the shell for easy ankle articulation, which makes hiking and skiing way easier than it would otherwise be. V-Lock 2. 0 features a new metal-on-metal locking mechanism, too, so there isn't any sacrifice in downhill performance when you lock it ...

Nordica GPX 105 Ski Boot - Women's Nordica GPX 105 Ski Boot - Women's
While that collection of high-heeled chukkas and leopard print wedges may say, "I enjoy putting my feet into vastly uncomfortable positions for more than eight hours at a time," but the Nordica Women's Belle Pro 105 Ski Boot speaks otherwise. Crafted to not just secure your foot for a good ride, but to also provide ski-boot-quality-comfort and support, the Belle Pro 105 has a sturdy 105 flex and 98mm last, making it the dreamiest boot on the market. It comes with a women-specific GPX Primaloft liner, which features Primaloft insulation to keep the chill off your toes, and a Precision Fit Primaloft TF footbed to keep your sole insulated and supported. The Belle Pro 105 also features Nordica's Weather Shield technology, which employs waterproof features in all the key gaps, like the front overlap, to make sure snow and slush don't find their way through the shell and into your socks. The Belle can ski, too, with a high-performance hinge that gives the boot more snap and edge-to-edge quickness and women-specific cuff that fits ladies' calves snugly for better feedback and less boot bang. Nordica GPX 130 Ski Boot Nordica GPX 130 Ski Boot
Nordica's GPX family is all about all-mountain domination, from the mellowest GPX 100 to the slightly rougher GPX 100, but neither of them can match the GPX 130 Men's Ski Boot when it comes to all-mountain power and precision. Even so, you can slip on the 130 and ski hard from bell to bell without spending half the day sitting by the fire making sure your toes haven't actually fallen off. The GPX 130 has, as you might've guessed, a pretty burly 130 flex rating, along with a relatively narrow 98mm last provides a snug, fairly aggressive fit that makes railing corduroy, skipping through bumps, and zipping between trees exercises in high-speed fun, not teeth-chattering terror. The Race GP Cork Fit Primaloft heat-moldable liner hugs the contours of your foot for comfort and precision, and the Full Shock Eraser bootboard takes the sting out of jumps, hardpack, and bumps so your feet absorb less punishment. Made of PU, and the cuff and shell provide a firm and consistent flex in all temperatures, and Nordica gridded the shell with its Bootfitter's Best Friend system, which makes it easier for bootfitting experts to punch and grind the shell to your exact specs. While the performance of the boot is awesome, comfort and customization are what sets it apart from similar boots. It has canting and flex adjustments, so you can personalize the fit, and all the hardware attaches by screws instead of rivets, so full customization is much faster and easier. GP dual-articulating buckles make opening and closing the boot super simple, and the Intuitive Easy Entry instep panel is softer than the rest of the boot, so no tears need be shed while you're trying to get your chilly boots on in the morning. Nordica also integrated its Full Motion Pivot, which allows increased customization around the ankle, and topped the GPX off with replaceable Extra-Grip soles for easier hiking and smoother parking lot navigation.

Rossignol AllSpeed Elite 130 Ski Boot Rossignol AllSpeed Elite 130 Ski Boot
Instead of letting the mountain toss you around, put on the Rossignol AllSpeed Elite 130 Ski Boot and drive your skis down everything from pristine corduroy in the morning to bumped-out steeps in the afternoon. With a stiff and powerful 130 flex, narrow last, and race-inspired fit, the AllSpeed Elite is built for the expert skier who sends just about every run the mountain can muster.Rossignol expanded its offerings in the AllSpeed line with flexes and lasts for just about every level of skier, but with a 98mm last and super stiff flex, it's safe to say that the AllSpeed Elite sits at the top of the line with design that points to one thing--performance. The four micro-adjustable buckles and cam-locking power strap ensure a rigid and powerful fit from the boot, while the power wrap liner and tongue only bolster the boot's already powerful nature. The new Sensor blade shell technology eliminates extra material through ridged spines on the shell that help to save weight, while directing power directly to the ski for powerful, performance-driven feel. The soles are interchangeable and can be fitted with WTR (walk-to-ride) technology for when you're spending a lot of time on the boot pack. The AllSpeed Elite comes with Rossignol's anatomically designed Custom Optisensor liner. The liner can be customized to ensure a secure and comfortable fit that will keep your feet happy from first to last chair. A thinsulate lining offers low-bulk warmth that helps to keep your feet warm when you're waiting in the lift line or riding chairs, but doesn't compromise the performance of the boot in the process. If conditions warrant a softer feel from the boot, the flex can be dialed back a bit for a more forgiving feel, and the canting can be adjusted to fit your preferred stance.

Roxa Freesoul 90 Ski Boot Roxa Freesoul 90 Ski Boot
The Roxa Men's Freesoul 90 Ski Boot rocks a look that's reminiscent of your dad's tube socks from back in the day, but it features a newschool shock-absorbing design and progressive flex perfect for stomping landings in the park or boosting off natural features all over the mountain. When you wear these suckers in the park, you get a responsive fit and support and lateral stability of the foot, because the Cabrio Design is composed of three pieces: the shell, cuff, and tongue. This lets the boot wrap snugly around your foot and ankle instead of squeezing, and has the added benefit of being way easier to get on and off than a traditional two-piece shell. Roxa also designed the Freesoul with an Intuition Free Soul liner, which molds completely to your foot for a glove-like fit and feel. The Freesoul's 90 flex gives enough backbone to ski hard and plenty of flex for smooth, pain-free park riding, while the wide 99mm last is snug and precise without being painful. The anti-shock bootboard inside the shell absorbs impacts when you stomp like Godzilla, and Roxa's rear spoiler is adjustable to allow for direct control of the forward lean. The Freesoul also has a canting adjustment to help you dial in your stance, and comes with a Roxgrip patch under the arch for improved grip on icy, rocks, and slippery urban builds.

Salomon QST Pro 130 Ski Boot Salomon QST Pro 130 Ski Boot
You left your race days behind you along with speed suits, keg beer, and dorm life, but even as you've relaxed your GS turns enough to enjoy a little off-piste smearing, you can't shake the need to ski with an uncompromisingly rigid boot. Fortunately, a stiff boot doesn't have to mean crunched up toes and a lack of circulation anymore. Power and performance no longer exist exclusively alongside pain, and the Salomon QST Pro 130 Boot is evidence of it. With a fully customizable shell and a flex your old race crew would approve of, QST Pro brings comfort without sacrificing the ability to back you up in the big stuff. Salomon uses its Twinframe 2 shell construction on the QST Pro 130, giving it full, 360-degree customization from the cuff to the shell. Your bony lumps and bumps can all be accommodated when the material is heated up without having to jump to punching and grinding right off the bat. Once you dial in the fit of the shell, do the same for the My Custom Fit 3D Race liners; being able to mold both a liner and shell around the contours of your foot results in a serious advantage once you're opening it up on the steep stuff. A boot free of slippage and hot spots means you'll be able to drive your skis without lag time or exaggerated movements from within the boot. Because achieving a perfect boot fit out of the box is nothing short of miraculous, Salomon purposely made the buckles, Oversized Pivot, and straps able to be dismantled by a bootfitter, improving your options for zeroing in on the precise fit that will work best for you. The QST Pro 130 was made with above-the-lift traverses and backcountry hikes in mind, and its walk mode makes a big difference when you're shedding layers and shouldering your skis to get to a hidden stash. The extended rubber sole helps you hang on when the wind turns a straightforward skate into a sketchier scramble, and the micro-adjustable buckles and 50mm power strap give you the ability to crank your feet down even furth...

Salomon X Max 110 Ski Boot - Women's Salomon X Max 110 Ski Boot - Women's
Customizable boots have a reputation as being seriously comfortable, and they are. A total custom fit doesn't get as much credit for helping make your skiing better, though, which is exactly what it does--just try the Salomon X Max 110 Women's Ski Boot if you need proof. Not only does it boast a fully customizable liner, but the shell itself is made of Salomon's heat-moldable 360 Custom Shell material, which can be formed to your foot to provide space where you need it, eliminate it where you don't, and help improve the power and precision of your skiing. The moldable shell is made of bi-material polyurethane, and features fully customizable panels around the ankle, shin, instep, and upper foot, so you can dial in a fit that conforms to the funky shapes of your feet without any aggravating punching or grinding. It's also easy to mold the My Custom Fit 3D Race women-specific liner, so you can dial down a fully personalized fit that improves your downhill performance while helping to keep your feet locked down and comfortable even in tough terrain. Salomon also designed the X Max with a short cuff to better accommodate women's calves, and included a cuff-adjustment screw that can provide some extra volume to better fit ladies with wide lower legs. Crushing the comfort aspect of a boot is undoubtedly a good thing, but prioritizing it over performance isn't really the right call. There are no such worries with the X Max, which uses Salomon's Oversized Pivot--the pivot is the spot where the shell and cuff are joined--to keep the boot laterally stiff, which is key when you're trying to roll wide powder skis edge to edge. The wide power strap lets you reduce the volume and batten down the hatches when you start skiing more aggressively, and the micro-adjustable buckles cinch your foot down into the bootboard for killer control with zero slop.

Salomon X Max 90 Ski Boot - Women's Salomon X Max 90 Ski Boot - Women's
Packing up a whole mess of features cribbed from aggressive boots into a comfortable package isn't easy or more companies would be doing it. Salomon's figured out the formula, though, and its X Max 90 Women's Ski Boot is proof that a good boot doesn't have to hurt. With a friendly flex rating of 90, a shell and liner that can be heat-molded to fit your foot, and lady-friendly touches like a low cuff and calf width adjustment, it manages to balance skiability with a plush feel, so you can ski all day without feeling like your feet are slowly dying. Heat-moldable liners like the X Max's My CustomFit 3D Performance Women's liner are pretty standard these days--and still awesome--but it's the new heat-moldable 360 Custom Shell that's getting most of the attention. With a width that can settle anywhere between 98 and 104mm, the shell can be heated up, put on, and cooled to conform perfectly to the contours of your feet and ankles without sacrificing the lateral stability and control provided by the Twinframe dual-material construction and oversized pivot (the joint where the shell and cuff meet). The lower cuff is designed to fit women's calves, and Salomon also included a cuff width adjuster that lets you tighten or expand the cuffs to eliminate slop and boot bang above the ankle. The buckles are also highly adjustable, so you can dial in the perfect volume and snugness, and the toe and heel lugs are replaceable, so you don't have to worry about worn soles affecting the consistent release and retention of your bindings.

Salomon X Pro 120 Ski Boot Salomon X Pro 120 Ski Boot
The old adage that you can do more on a dialed boot and a 20-year old ski than sloppy boots and the latest-and-greatest boards exists for a reason, and boots like the Salomon X Pro 120 Ski Boot make it easy to understand why. Offering up loads of customization, comfort, and bombproof reliability, the boot comes with a rippable 120 flex and heat-moldable 360 degree Custom Shell. Just imagine what it'll do with those shiny new skis. Salomon constructed the X Pro 120 with its TwinFrame 360-degree heat moldable shell, made of bi-material polyurethane. The shell features fully customizable panels around the ankle, shin, instep, and upper foot, so you can dial in a fit that conforms to the shape of your particular feet without taking drastic measures. Molding the My Custom Fit 3D Race liner is also easy and allows you to significantly improve the fit of the boot. Carve down groomers and dive off into the deep stuff with the security of a customized liner that won't let a heel lift or a forefoot wiggle ruin your line. Even once you've gotten the X Pro molded around your feet, Salomon's Articulated Sensifit design, essentially flexible panels around the instep and shin, means you'll be able to slide the boot on and off without a series of dramatic grunts and sighs every afternoon. With its X Pro line, Salomon managed to build boots that won't leave you in a tough spot when you're counting on them, but that are also comfortable enough to wear all day. Salomon's Oversized Pivot, sitting between the shell and cuff, manages to keep the boot laterally stiff, so you won't end up nose-over-tips when you throw power onto your outside leg to carve a deep set of tracks. Once you duck into the fun stuff, the wide power strap and adjustable Flex Boost screw lets you tighten up the flex to make sure your boots are rock-solid and responsive before you say a prayer and drop in. Just don't forget to lock down the micro-adjustable buckles before you do.

Consider the Tecnica Men's Cochise 100 Ski Boot if you're planning on getting the most out of your resort pass this season. Tecnica Mach1 105 LV Ski Boot - Women's Tecnica Mach1 105 LV Ski Boot - Women's
It took Cinderella years of abuse, a terrible family, and fairy godmother to finally find the perfect slipper, but it's so much easier to find the perfect shoe for narrow-footed all-mountain skiers--just slip your dainty paw into the Tecnica Mach1 105 LV Women's Ski Boot. Getting the Mach1 on in time to chase down your pow prince is a breeze, because Tecnica designed it with a Quick Instep panel, a flexible piece of plastic right at the overlap to take the pain and struggle out of parking-lot donning and doffing. The fit is a fairy tale, too, because the Mach1 features C. A. S. (Custom Adaptive Shape) technology in the shell, liner, and bootboard. Basically, they've all been constructed to allow maximum customization, so you (or better yet, a qualified booter) can grind out problem areas in the shell, shave the bootboard down to improve alignment, and heat-mold the Women's Ultrafit liner in a snap. Improved fit means improved comfort and performance, so you can make the most of the narrow 98mm last and low-volume (hence the"LV" moniker) fit. The Mach1 locks down via four micro-adjustable aluminum buckles and a 35mm power strap, and handles treacherous parking lots and staircases with a grippy bi-material sole, so getting to the lift isn't the sketchiest part of your day.

Tecnica Mach1 120 LV Ski Boot Tecnica Mach1 120 LV Ski Boot
Tecnica's Mach1 120 LV Men's Ski Boot isn't the stiffest boot in Tecnica's Mach1 lineup--that honor goes to the Mach1 130--but it's still designed to rip. The 120 flex won't be overwhelmed unless you're a balls-to-the-wall ripper, and the ratcheting power strap and micro-adjustable buckles lock the shell and cuff down solidly against the liner, so you won't have to suffer slop just to enjoy killer performance. LV also signifies "low volume", which means the Mach1 is designed to provide a snug, precise fit for skiers with narrower feet. You won't have to fight through pain just to enjoy a killer fit, though, because Tecnica designed the Mach1 to be as customizable as they come. It features a C. A. S. Ultrafit Pro Race heat-moldable liner for serious personalization, along with a C. A. S. bootboard and C. A. S. shell that are designed to be ground and punched by bootfitters to improve fit and alignment (C. A. S. stands for custom adaptive shape, if you're wondering). The Mach1 also sports Tecnica's Quick Instep panel, a softer piece of plastic around the instep that makes it easier and less painful to get your boots on and off.

Tecnica Mach1 130 LV Boots Tecnica Mach1 130 LV Boots
There's no point in beating around the bush: the Tecnica Mach1 130 LV Men's Ski Boot is a hard-charging, take-no-prisoners, race-bred freeride boot that's not particularly interested in slowing down, taking it easy, or just cruising. In addition to a burly 130 flex, well-defined heel pockets, taller cuffs, and pre-punched navicular areas, the Mach1 boasts the same 98mm last and easy on/off Quick-Instep Max overlap construction featured on Tecnica's World-Cup-conquering Inferno boots. This construction is key, since it makes the Mach1 perfect for lower-volume feet (hence the LV) or even more precise for skiers who are looking for the ultimate performance fit. The sculpted polyether shell provides a snugly confident fit around the foot, while the stiff polyester cuff gives the power to conquer big lines and big drops at high speed without worrying about feeling loose, soft, or wobbly in your boots. Tecnica designed the Custom Adaptive Shape (C. A. S.) UltraFit Pro Race liner to exactly match the contours of the shell, giving you a seriously precise and powerful out-of-the-box fit that won't pack out after half a season like traditional liners tend to do. The LV uses a thinner and more responsive liner than the classic Mach1 for more sensitivity and less chance that it will pack out and get sloppy. The C. A. S. liner is also designed to be heat molded for a fine-tuned fit, giving you the ability to rip in comfort from the first chair to the last run. A fat 45mm power strap lets you cinch everything down for snug and powerful feel, and the Mach1's subtle canting and flex adjustments give you the ability to dial your stance. When the TechniGrip soles wear out, you can replace them for more grip and surer binding release and retention, or you can swap them out for a full-length pre-canted sole to address any alignment problems you're having. If you like to push your skiing and need a boot that can keep up, the Mach1 130 LV is a pretty damn good bet.

Tecnica's Mach1 130 MV Men's Ski Boot isn't the tightest-fitting boot on the market--MV signifies medium volume, and the 100mm last is made for wider feet--but it's still designed to rip. Tecnica Mach1 95 MV Ski Boot - Women's Tecnica Mach1 95 MV Ski Boot - Women's
Tecnica's Mach1 95 MV Women's Ski Boot is made to be comfortable, but that doesn't mean it lacks the chops to satisfy adventurous intermediate skiers. It features a moderately wide 100mm last with plenty of room in the toe box, but Tecnica's anatomical and heat-moldable C. A. S. liner, eminently grindable C. A. S. shell, and C. A. S. Quadrafit Ultrafit heat-moldable liner are also designed to be customized to your feet, so comfort doesn't have to mean slop (C. A. S., if you're wondering, stands for Custom Adaptive Shape). Even the C. A. S. bootboard is designed to be ground down to help you achieve the perfect stance, so you can enjoy efficiency and comfort that you thought were only the stuff of dreams. The Mach1 95 is comfortable and customizable, but it can hold its own when the skiing gets adventurous, too. The 95mm flex strikes a balance between firmness and comfort, and the four micro-adjustable buckles allow you to make tiny changes to the volume and snugness, so you can enjoy comfort and control. Tecnica also built in a flexible Quick Instep panel for painless and easy entries and exits, and finished the Mach1 off with a hook-and-loop power strap that gives the cuff a smooth, reliable, and strong feel.

Tecnica Ten.2 120 HV Ski Boot Tecnica Ten.2 120 HV Ski Boot
Some of us are born with big heads, some with huge ears, and others with giant, yeti-sized feet that just don't fit into ski boots. If you fall into the latter category, Tecnica feels your pain and has a boot just for you, my Sasquatch-pawed friend: the 106mm-lasted Ten. 2 120 H. V. L., designed for those who are tired of suffering the pain of boot-inflicted foot-binding. The H. V. (High Volume) last, which checks in at a burly 120 flex, is a full 6mm wider than Tecnica's standard men's last, which may not sound like a lot, but it's a big difference when you consider that the variation between its top-end race and standard all-mountain lasts is only 2mm. Quick Instep, a soft plastic panel molded to the instep of boot, allows the tongue to open fully when pulling the H. V. L on and off, eliminating the hellacious struggle that can leave you exhausted and wanting to go home first thing in the morning, and a pull strap on the tongue gives you all the leverage you need to make entry and exit a breeze. The upper buckles on the H. V. L feature three-position adjustment, offering 44mm of fit customization that will conform to any leg shape and work in cooperation with the adjustable dual-rivet cuff alignment, allowing you to fine-tune the fit to suit your preferred stance. There's an adjustable rear spoiler, too, that can help you stay forward or ride more upright, and can even be entirely removed to make room for extra-wide calves. If all this doesn't sound comfortable enough, Tecnica also included a UF HV heat-moldable liner for increased customization, an anatomic footbed for cushioned support, and a bi-material sole that helps you stay upright on icy ground and slippery staircases.
