FOX Racing Shox 34 Float 27.5 140 3Pos-Adj FIT4 Fork
FOX Racing Shox 34 Float 27.5 140 3Pos-Adj FIT4 Fork description:
Although the previous 34 Float Fork is incredibly capable, the engineers at FOX sought to improve its sensitivity to small rocks, speed-robbing roots, and uneven trail surfaces. FOX's solution to improving its sensitivity' Give the Fox 34 Float 27. 5 140 3Pos-Adj FIT4 Fork a new damper tune with a reconfigured shim stack for heightened sensitivity to small trail inconsistencies and bumps. Following suit in the sensitivity department, the Float air spring is revised with EVOL technology, which is borrowed from FOX's rear shocks to initiate travel with less force, subsequently creating smoother compliance over small bumps. The 34 Float is an ideal match for your mid-travel trail rig with its 34-millimeter stanchions. 34-millimeter stanchions are lighter than the burlier offerings of the 36 Float, yet they still retain a high level of stiffness for precise tracking across the rough stuff. Ultimately, this means you'll have a reliable fork that's composed and confident across technical trails, but without sacrificing efficiency when you're climbing for hours or logging long mileage in the backcountry. This Factory version of the 34 Float has Kashima-coated stanchions for greater sensitivity to small rocks, undulations, and ruts in the trail. The big story with the 34 Float is the Fit4 damper with its 3-position adjust. Something to note, the damper's reconfigured shim stack makes it easier than ever to add or remove volume spacers by eliminating a seal. With the 3-position adjust, you'll be able to swap between Open, Medium, and Firm settings on-the-fly, allowing for quick adjustment to the local trails at hand. Open mode gives you the ability to tune 22 clicks of low-speed compression for getting its feel just right. Medium offers a bit more efficiency for smoother trails and long climbs when you're seeking to mute some of the fork's tendencies to bob under forward weight transfer, due to its highly sensitive nature. And when you're seeking a practical lock-out, F...
