G.LOOMIS INTRODUCES ECONOMY FLY REEL

Woodland, Washington, U.S.A.- If you are just getting into fly fishing or just an avid fly angler, looking for a good quality reel and don't want to empty your wallet, you need to check out the new Adventure Series fly reels from G.Loomis.

Adventure Series fly reels feature sturdy, cast aluminum frames and spools with palming rim, wide-range adjustable disc drag, quick release spool and a rich, champagne gold anodized finish. They are available in three sizesÖ #3, #5 and #7. These are freshwater reels designed for trout fishing and other species like bass, panfish and shad. They are lightweight, smooth operating reels with a clicker system to let you know when line is going off the reel, with silent retrieve.

The #3 reel, designed to fish two to four-weight lines, holds between 75 and 100 yards of 20-pound backing depending on the line size. The #5 reel, designed for four to six-weight lines, holds about 130 to 165 yards of 20# backing and the #7 reel, designed for six to eight-weight lines, holds about 150 to 180 yards of 20# backing.

All have large, positive adjustment drag knobs and are easily converted from left to righthand retrieve by just removing one locking screw and turning over an anti-reverse ball bearing sleeve.

Each reel comes with a soft, padded protective case that fits right over the reel seat. They have a limited one-year warranty and are priced right around $100.
