Two brothers Beirne and Gregg Chisolm invented the band while on Maui. The brothers were fed up with losing too many watches. So they produced their first prototype watchbands based on the double wrap principal of surfboard leashes. They called it simply, THE BANDĘ.

THE BAND is a one size fits all solution and comes in many fabric types and colors. We tested the Accents collection in the 1-inch width. We found THE BAND took practice to get it to fit right. One of the testers used the band designed with a wide nylon mesh weave to allow the water to drain off. He found at first it caused him to perspire under the band. All of the testers commented on how nice it was to put the watch on the outside of a coat and still have the watch fit.

THE BAND is a must have for those who are very active and want to wear their watch. THE BAND design keeps the watch from disappearing when one of the points of attachment breaks down; for example if I have a regular band and a pin breaks the watch will fall off the wrist. With THE BAND the watch will still be connected to the band with the other pin.

THE BAND comes in widths of 3/4, 1, 1 1/2 inch. It will fit watch sizes of 3/4, 5/8, 1/2 inch. There are many colors and pattern to choose from. THE BAND is priced less than 7 dollars and is a great buy.
