Merrell Yeti Chameleon Moc - GearReview.com
By Matt Smith
There is nothing at the end of a long day like a nice, comfortable pair of old shoes. But as we all know, old shoes look bad, frequently smell bad, and unfortunately even our toes may hang out the odd hole. There is a solution to the old shoe blues. Mocs and Slides have made a tremendous impact on the market over the last several years, and since their inception, Merrell has been at the leading edge.
The Merrell Yeti Chameleon is perhaps the most comfortable winter moc I have ever worn. The sheepskin interior cradles your foot in warm comfort after a long day in plastic boots. Even the insole is lined with sheepskin. The suede uppers look great, and fit right in at the lodge, or at your favorite bar and grill. The hard rubber soles grip into packed snow quite well. On ice they perform about like any non-studded shoe...Watch Your Step!
There really isn't a whole lot more to say about these mocs other than they are very comfortable, and they look great. The Yeti is a bit on the winter specific side with the sheep skin, but Merrell makes a full rage of mocs for all occassions.
Summary: Great looking moc, that soothes and comforts tired feet at the end of a long day. The Yeti can be found for around $99.
